Building a community within The Yorkshire Hypnobirthing School

The best hot chocolate in the world @ Stockeld Park

When the first lockdown back in March 2020 began, I was thinking of different things that I could do to support the families I work with as much as I can – ways for people to be able to connect and be able to support the families I work with.⠀

Being able to connect with other people is such a big part of being a human, especially in pregnancy and during a pandemic.. We all need the support of others. ⠀

At The Yorkshire Hypnobirthing School, adapting to working via ? has been a learning process – it’s actually really good fun teaching online and once I came up with a formula for interactive classes – it’s been great to see the bonds that people have made during the sessions.⠀

I will now be offering some additional perks when booking one of my hypnobirthing or doula services on top of access to the Facebook community as a way of saying thank you and to build up our community ? ⠀

??Monthly Relaxation Sessions via zoom where we can practice hypnobirthing techniques and get really chilled out before bed ⠀

?‍♂️Monthly Community Catch Ups (I can’t say coffee catch-ups because I’m a huge tea drinker) via zoom with the hope of moving some of these to different venues in late spring ⠀

I’ve also got a few other things that I am working on which I can’t wait to share with you all soon, but for now – if you’ve done a class with me, message me for the Facebook community link if you’re not already on there and for those of you thinking of doing a hypnobirthing class soon – I can’t wait to welcome you into the community.⠀
